Week 8 (March 6, 2024)

This week, the professor started a new lesson on the significance of responsive design in website development. After completing today's lesson, I'm sure I understand how to make responsive images and forms.

When I set the max-width property to 100% and the height property to auto, pictures will resize correctly and keep their aspect ratio on all devices. In the same way, rearranging forms using tags with specific column classes and float properties makes the layout more responsive, which is important for user engagement on screens of all sizes.

However, I'm still having trouble figuring out how to use media queries to change features based on the size of the device and using flexbox and grid layouts.

As an instructional designer, I will ensure that my websites are responsive across all devices to provide access to learners from various socio-economic backgrounds.
